Covid-19

Current Status

PHASE 3
  • Offices closed.
  • All work performed on-line in collaboration with customers and vendors.
  • If runbiz™ workforce is affected, Service Levels will change. We will do our best to work with each customer to prioritize and set expectations for each request.
  • Only critical on-site or in-office work will be permitted using strict precautions within local government restrictions.
  • Customers will need to be responsible for plugging, unplugging, hard resets, etc. We will be creative using Face-Time, interval scheduling or other work-arounds that may become necessary to deliver service and keep everyone safe.

Effectiveness in this stage depends solely on our ability to keep our employees healthy and available to work.

Trigger: Awareness of the COVID-19 Pandemic and confirmed cases in the U.S.

Plan Details:

  • runbiz™ office is open and taking recommended precautions.
  • In-Person services – business as usual, with precautions, in our immediate area (Panhandle)
  • Business travel outside of our immediate service area is suspended. We will address effects with customers on a case by case basis.
  • runbiz™ leadership will continue to monitor the latest developments in our community and respond accordingly.

Trigger: Amarillo area schools close as a precautionary method, but no active cases in the area.

Effect:  This will cause a significant ripple effect in our community, including employee and customer availability and limiting basic services.

Plan Details:

  • Majority of runbiz™ team will work from home.
  • Remote Services will continue as usual. Customers will continue to use the standard runbiz™ service protocols.  Service Levels Agreements will be met so long as runbiz™ employees are healthy.
  • Support request volume is increasing due to customers implementing their own quarantine plans.
  • runbiz™ office staffed by skeleton crew open only to employees who cannot provide essential services remotely.
    • Offices are closed to the public. Only runbiz™ team members will be allowed past the entry vestibule.
    • All customer meetings will be scheduled and held on-line, by appointment only.
    • Customer hardware pick-up and drop-off will continue via the entry vestibule. This will be scheduled via service ticket.
    • Shipping and Receiving will continue via the entry vestibule.
  • Employees working from home will need to be in constant communication with their teams / supervisors to ensure we continue to provide great service from home.
  • Employees working from home will maintain a professional work environment.
  • Field Service / Projects / In-person Work (All Departments)
    • Collaborate with customers case by case to determine the absolute necessity of on-site work. Seek workarounds to avoid on-site and face to face interactions.  Customers should expect this to require non-standard participation from them.

For this stage, our goals are to maintain 95% of normal effectiveness for remote services and 80% effectiveness for all services.

Trigger: Existence of local confirmed cases and/or local government restrictions imposed.

Effect:  As the disease spreads, we are prepared for runbiz™ employees or their families to be directly affected.

Plan:

Trigger: Evidence of locally confirmed cases flattening and/or local government easing restrictions.

Effect:  It is difficult to forecast how this might play out.  Common sense would anticipate that we might transition back through the phases or some variation until normal services are restored.

Plan: See previous phases and check for current updates.
